We have broken away from the GT/GD format
so that we can focus on the Chicago GT specifically.
This will ensuring that the GT will get
the attention it deserves from our staff.
We’re also looking forward to getting
back some of that “old school”
feel by moving the event to a hotel rather
than a convention center. The Chicago GT
will feature separate tournaments for:
- Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament
- Warhammer Grand Tournament
- The Lord of The Rings Grand Tournament

Non-Players at the Event
Many of you have asked about the presence
of those not playing in the GT. We are fine
with partners (husbands, wives, boyfriends,
or girlfriends) and children coming into
the hall, but these visitors must be careful
to not interrupt the gaming in any way.
This means no tactical suggestions, no moving
of models, no rolling dice, or anything
else that might delay the game or distract
your opponent. In addition, we will probably
set up an area where family members could
sit down and do a bit of hobbying. |
