The original US Grand Tournament continues
its cherished history in Charm City (that’s
Baltimore to those who haven’t been
here). With the 2008 season almost at a
close we will hopefully be ready to announce
the events for 2009! The Baltimore GT will
feature separate tournaments for:
- Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament
- Warhammer Grand Tournament
- The Lord of The Rings Grand Tournament
Baltimore
Convention Center
One West Pratt St
Baltimore, Maryland 21201
Note: This date has changed
from the one first announced because the
Convention Center had planned to charge
us twice as much for half the space if we
moved to the Ballroom (with carpet), something
we only discovered in early April. Rather
than charge four times as much for the tickets
we decided to move the event back into Hall
D and therefore were required to change
the date. Our apologies for any inconvenience
this may have caused.
Schedule
We will post an complete schedule of the
event as it approaches.
Tickets
Tickets will be $125. Tickets will be available
for sale starting May 5. Once they are available,
tickets may be purchased from direct services
at 1-800-394-GAME.

Non-Players at the Event
Many of you have asked about the presence
of those not playing in the GT. We are fine
with partners (husbands, wives, boyfriends,
or girlfriends) and children coming into
the hall, but these visitors must be careful
to not interrupt the gaming in any way.
This means no tactical suggestions, no moving
of models, no rolling dice, or anything
else that might delay the game or distract
your opponent. In addition, we will probably
set up an area where family members could
sit down and do a bit of hobbying. |
